HCM is also involved in infrastructure and building projects. Its first infrastructure project was the installation of culverts using pipe jacking method for the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) in 1995/96. HCM was also involved in the earthwork and associated works for the Express Rail Link (ERL) Project.

HCM’s move into building construction represents the completion of the company evolution into a fully diversified construction company. Its first building project was the construction of Low Cost Longhouse Project for PUTRA in Setapak. HCM had also completed the construction of 2 blocks of 9 storey hostels for Kumpulan Ikram Sdn Bhd. In addition, there was also a construction management project for a 78 bedded hospital in Jasin, Melaka.
